Neva Hughes Griffith asks: I am having a problem with NYX jumbo eye pencils (shadow sticks). I have written to NYX, but they will not respond. I use the pencils as a base and then layer powdered eye shadow on top. It's an awesome effect but the eye pencil creases. I use primer and it doesn't seem to effect it. Do you know of any other tricks to keep this from happening? Thanks for your help.

Melissa says: We love using that technique as well! The ingredient that holds the "shadow" together to become a pencil may be the culprit. If it is too waxy it will definitely crease. It must be, if layering powdered shadows are not setting it. I would try a different brand because your application steps are perfect.
