Blake Lively has been tapped to front Gucci's upcoming Gucci Premiére eau de parfum campaign, a new scent created to represent the brand's red carpet inspired collection.
Frida Giannini, Gucci's Creative Director, stated, “In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamor and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era. Blake’s unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way.”
The print ads featuring the Gossip Girl star were shot by Mert & Marcus, and the television ads were filmed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Blake is no stranger to to ad campaigns having already appeared in ads for Chanel and the Mademoiselle handbag line last year.
Lively stated, “It is a pleasure to collaborate with Frida Giannini. I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance.”
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was granted a restraining order against a fan who made her fear for her safety.
Court documents identify the stalker as Sergie Mifle, who was lurking around the set and claimed he had a spiritual connection to the 24-year-old actress and he was going to “help her heal".
According to the documents, Mifle also emailed and made several attempts to call Lively's mother, Elain.
The restraining order means Mifle must stay at least 100 yards away from Lively, her mother and the Gossip Girl set.

It's official Blake Lively is the new face of Chanel! The Gossip Girl star is already hard at work for the couture label, and reports are circulating that shooting has begun for the new ad campaign! Karl Lagerfeld has made no secret of his admiration for the 23-year-old. “She’s a kind of American dream girl,” says Lagerfeld of the blonde beauty.
The ads, slated to break in April magazines, will feature Lively showcasing the new Mademoiselle handbag line and will be photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. It was American Vogue editor in cheif Anna Wintour who introduced the actress to the designer last July during couture week in Paris. The three of them had dinner together the night before the Chanel show at the Grand Palasis. Lively said of meeting Lagerfeld, “I took a photo of him so that I would never forget that moment. Never did I think six months later he would be photographing me.”
