WHAT DREW YOU TO WANT TO START MODELING?
My Grandma noticed my interest in fashion at age 8, so she talked my parents into allowing me to model in local runway fashion shows. It was around the end of high school that I found the passion again for modeling. I have a huge appreciation for the entire creative process from an idea to an intricate design to stylists' and make up artists' abilities and how a photographer can capture it. It's incredible to be a piece of an artistic collaboration.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE FASHION DESIGNERS AND WHY?
I adore Marchesa designs. There is such an air of elegance and detail that I find intoxicating. From evening wears to bridal gowns --- it is art. Also, I'm a fan of Chanel. Coco's designs are so crisp and beautiful.
WHAT ARE YOUR FIVE FASHION MUST-HAVES IN YOUR WARDROBE?
My five fashion must haves are: dark skinny jeans, a black pencil skirt, black tights, a blouse that can be layered and black boots.
IF YOU WON $20 MILLION IN THE LOTTERY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE MONEY?
$20 million dollars, what a thought!! I would buy vacation homes for my family to have vacations at throughout the year. I would create some trust funds for the future. And I would hire a personal stylist, makeup artist and hair stylist.
WHAT WOULD I FIND IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR RIGHT NOW?
There are lots of fruits, veggies and eggs. Also, you would find milk, orange juice and leftovers.
WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON AND WHY?
My longest running style icon is Christy Turlington. I have admired her since I was little (back to Maybelline commercials). Her aura is so elegant and timeless. I would add Olivia Palemero too. She always looks flawless. Oh, to raid her closet would be a DREAM.

ON SET ~
The Allure Design Team was ready for a day outdoors with House of 5th Designs. Planning for windy weather, team member Melissa Ingersoll decided to blow-dry Benniefactor’s b-clever dressing crème into Christy’s hair. This created great body, control and tremendous texture.
The next step was to set her hair with a 1” curling iron, clipping the curls into place and allowing them to cool. Here comes the real fun… Earlier that week Melissa created custom clip-in hair extensions using a variety of colors to blend with Christy’s color as well as give her highlights. The extensions were placed strategically to create volumes and length. This was truly what we needed to bring out the vision of the shoot. Using custom clip-in extensions allowed the team to take Christy’s shorter length hair to all new dramatic level, perfect for this House of 5th dress.
Dramatic, the team was enjoying that theme, so team member Shana Lee used it when creating this makeup look. Shana created this striking eye makeup by using multiple shades. Starting with a soft neutral base color over the entire eye and applying darker, richer shades to produce an intense effect. Shana finished off the look with minimal blush and the perfect lip color to accent Christy’s hair and eyes.
You might want to try an eye collection in one compact, they are usually were made to go together. Try Too Faced’s Naked Eye Soft & Sexy Collection. An incredible collection of 9 have to have matte neutral and soft shimmer eye colors. Did I mention it comes with the perfect little tool?
- Start with sweeping a light color from below the brow to the crease of the lid.
- Apply a medium shade on the entire eyelid.
- Apply a darker shade on the crease, being sure to blend well.
- After applying liner to your lower lash line, apply a small amount of the dark color and smudge to blend, set and create an incredible dramatic eye.
- Don’t forget the mascara.
