Editor's Letter - August 2011

The month of August always reminds me of back to school sales, pre-fall fashions and accessories. When I was younger, somehow a new wardrobe and a trip to the mall made the impending end of summer and the start of another school year easier to accept. I would scan the latest catalogs and magazines creating a collage of fashions, deciding on what items would be part of my fabulous fall back to school wardrobe. Bags, boots, lightweight sweaters, jewelry and the best part of all - jeans! My fall wardrobe centered around jeans and finding the right pair was half the fun! Trying on six or seven pair at a single store and falling in love with the style, cut, wash and realizing that your hips never looked so good was a fashion victory!
