Othello Industries Rocks September!

Though still in its early stages, Othello Industries is making a name for themselves in the greater Chicago area and Northwest Indiana's "Region."  Started roughly 5 years ago, designer Russ Capellari, along with Othello team members Jayne and Mike, make clothes they find hip and simple - clothes they want to wear every week for years.  Their fun, fresh and original designs put their brand right out front without overpowering the senses.  When asked about the name Othello, Russ replied, "Jayne loves Shakespeare. We battled for months with many ideas. Othello just happened, and it was perfect."

Without further ado...  Here's Othello Industries!

ON SET ~ Shana Lee used Urban Decay's Primer Potion to create a base on her lids to give the eye the brightest possible color & last the whole shoot without smudging. Then she used Medusa's Makeup's (Vegan friendly makeup line) color Blow on her lid as the base. To create the dark smudge look she used Bed Head's black to complete the rock & roll look. Courtney James used Kat Von D's, adora painted love to create the perfect lips

Melissa Terhune & Courtney James did her hair. With Crystal's Rock & Roll inspiration they embraced the look. Starting with Shuga's Leave in Shampoo, they applied it to remove any extra oil residue. Using BennieFactor's b-more & b-bold to prep her hair they created a foundation to work with. They then curled her hair using a flat iron. After completing the curls they applied Davines #5 Stucco, which is like liquid backcombing, to create a messy, tousled look that will last. To complete the look they custom razor cut the pink & silver extension pieces & sprayed BennieFactor's b-confident hairspray.
