ON SET~ It was a really hot and humid day probably the hottest day of the summer up to that point. Taylor was rocking the red Alana Top and Alyssa Bottoms from the Rock Solid collection. The Alana Top is a solid triangle top with adjustable straps around the neck and under the bust line. The Alyssa Bottoms are a low rise fit with the TAVIK emblem (TVK) on the right side and thick tie straps on each side. Jewelry Designer Kristen Johnson of Madrin Designs styled each look with the perfect bracelets, silver chain necklaces, blossom rings and earrings matching the colors to each suit! Professional Hair Stylist’s Melissa Ingersoll and Renee Gambrel from Allure Salon crafted hairstyles for the shoot that were very wild and rock and roll. Melissa and Renee worked with Professional Stylist and Make-Up Artist Leslie Bardonner to craft each look perfectly. The TAVIK collection featured in this issue is named after some of the wildest party bands from the 1980’s which gave Melissa and Renee the true inspiration to create the “hair band” look. Leslie used Urban Decay’s Zero, a charcoal black eye-shadow to create an extreme smokey eye. She highlighted Taylor’s eyes with a golden pink color from Urban Decay called Scratch. Finishing the look with Aveda’s number #40 Cardamom on Taylor’s lips for a fierce look.

Famed local Photographer Michael Trace felt very comfortable shooting the models in the cabinetry warehouse space, with the gravel lot and abundance of power tools we had several props to use to our advantage to create that heavy metal edgy rock and roll feel perfect for the collection.
