Nightlights TV ~ Your Backstage Pass and Front Row Seat
Who's that girl with the beautiful blonde hair and the microphone "Getting Her Cheeky On" and talking fashion with all the glamorous people of Indianapolis? That, my fellow Fashion Wrappers, is Amy Beers - career woman, model and host of Nightlights TV! Nightlights TV has been on the air in the South Bend market since February 2008 giving local viewers a taste of nightlife and all things glamour and fashion! Now Nightlights TV is giving us something to talk about here in the Indianapolis area - "Fashion, Food and Fun!"
You may have noticed this beautiful lady featured in our August issue as well, as she graces the pages of our feature photo spread featuring TAVIK swimwear. Yup, that's her with the wild, sexy Tawny Kitaen hair wearing the national brand TAVIK! Amy, and her producer/boyfriend/media mogul Jason Joliff, have been heating things up in the Michiana area for a while and now they are bringing their show to Indy and the World with the power of LIVE WEBCASTING!
It doesn't stop there "Glitz on the Runway” is a second TV show that Jason and Amy have been developing for about a year and a half now with Executive Producer, Berny Martin – founder of Midwest Fashion Week. Jason tells Fashion Wrap Up "We have no plans on changing the name of Nightlights other than perhaps to “Indy Nightlights”. Nightlights focuses on restaurants, bars, events, music and other things related to nightlife with hints of fashion sprinkled on top. Glitz on the Runway however, will be entirely centered around fashion in Indy. Covering casting calls, rehearsals, the shows themselves, and the after parties as well as talks with designers and other influential peeps. It would still have the Nightlights style but a totally different show really."
Nightlights made its debut here in Indianapolis Sunday July 18th with a special message from Host Amy Beers announcing the live webcasting feature. Amy told the Nightlights audience that they would be broadcasting live from the Pretty Indy party on July 22nd at Usual Suspects in Broad Ripple! Such an exciting time for Nightlights, Amy chatted with Arlinda Norris of R.Lynda about her upcoming fashion event at the Indiana State Museum where she is unveiling her collection to Indianapolis for the first time! Amy also chatted with the hostesses of the hour, the Pretty Indy Girls, Kelly and Tiffany as well as Fashion Wrap Up's Creative Director, Crystal Serowka, and myself.
Now as you all know Nightlights took their webcasting to a new level in just one week. If you saw the videos and interviews from the R.Lynda show, then you sat front row with Amy during that show on Thursday July 29th! You were able to enjoy a glass of chardonnay with Amy and check out the local fashion scene right from your computer!! Not to mention you were able to see all the fun interviews with local celebs Alex Paredes and Peter Monn (i.e. The Boys of Raannt, the women who give us gorgeous jewels to "Get Our Cheeky On" Angie Parker and Lisa Miller of Cheeky Couture (who, by the way, also sponsor Amy's jewelry that she wears on camera) and backstage with Fashion Wrap Up's own August Cover Girl Taylor Holden!
Jason tells us that "Nightlights TV is all about food, fun and fashion." I love food, fun and fashion, so I will be watching Nightlights TV each week to see what restaurants Amy is checking out and for the latest fashion news in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas! You can also find them on Facebook and follow Amy and the Nightlights crew on twitter too @NightlightsTV. If you see Amy and the Nightlights team out and about stop by and say hello. Amy loves to meet new people, and don't forget to catch the latest episodes from Nightlights TV at www.nightlights.tv !!
